Pierre Jacques Andre Lubin, Sr., age 74, of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at All American Assisted Living in Raynham after a long journey with Lewy Body Dementia. He was the husband of Gilberte (Vaneps) Lubin.
Born in Jacmel, Haiti, he was the son of the late Jacques Lubin and Ena Despinos.
Affectionately known as Bobby, he graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology and worked as a Test engineer for over thirty years at Teradyne in Boston.
An avid sports fan, his favorite soccer team was Brazil. He loved keeping up with the Celtics, Patriots, and Revolution. He enjoyed listening to all types of music, especially Jazz and Kompa, building computers, and serving his community. Getting together with family and friends is what gave him immense joy. In the summers, he was a King of Grill and took care of his lawn and home meticulously. He was a man of integrity, discipline, and was well respected. He was very passionate about the prosperity of Haiti and had many spirited conversations with his friends and family. Bobby will forever be remembered as someone who fiercely loved his family and sacrificed to give them a life of choice and opportunity.
In addition to his wife Gilberte, he leaves his three children, Pierre Lubin, Jr., of Brockton, Dimitri Lubin of Braintree, and Aisha Lubin Losche and her husband Michael of Bridgewater; three siblings, Chantal Dragon and her husband Chrispin of Stoughton, Gerald Lubin of Everett, and Philippe Lubin of Brockton; seven grandchildren whom he adored, Brianna Lubin, Andre Lubin, Dimitri Lubin, Isabella Lubin, Carter Losche, Grayson Losche, and Adira Marie Losche, and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Jean Carl Lubin.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 9:15 am, for a funeral mass at 10:30 am, in Christ the King Church, 54 Lyman Street, Brockton. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
