Obituary

Earle W. Lovell, Jr., age 67, of Plymouth, died on December 12, 2024 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Earle W. and Rose (Zarrella) Lovell, Sr.

Earle was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. He owned and operated Lovell Construction Company for many years as a skilled craftsman and well respected business owner. He was passionate about his craft and took pride in sharing his knowledge with others.

Loyal, dependable, and hard-working, Earle was a great friend to many. He cared deeply for others, always going out of his way to help or lend a hand. He loved visiting with family, friends and the elderly. Earle enjoyed spending time by the water in Scituate Harbor and Plymouth, riding his motorcycles, horseback riding, and dancing. He was an avid fan of old western movies and NASCAR.

Earle was the brother of Susan Kinney of Middleboro, John Lovell of Brockton, Rosemary Tonelli of Brockton, Jean Lovell of Brockton and Diane Bulu of Bridgewater. He was an uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is mourned by his chosen family, Alysia Killam and her husband Cliff and their children Milyana, Malyna and Mya of Brockton, as well as his dear friends Peter Peterson, Fatima Lovell and Mary Christian, as well as countless others who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11am-2pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Earle will be buried at a later date in Milton Cemetery.
