WEBSTER – Tadeusz “Ted” Dymek, 65, died Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Tufts Medical Center, Boston after a brief illness.
He leaves a sister, Janina (Dymek) Kulma and her husband Henry with whom he lived; 5 brothers, Kazimierz Dymek and his wife Irena, Wlodzimierz Dymek and his wife Wanda, Wieslaw Dymek and his wife Teresa, Miroslaw Dymek and his wife Malgorzata all of Poland, and Rev. Janusz Dymek of Brooklyn, NY; many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
He was born on March 9, 1959 in Piasutno-Zelazne, Poland the son of Stanislaw and Halina (Walczyk) Dymek. He emigrated from Poland to Webster, MA in 1986.
Mr. Dymek worked for 30 years as a maintenance mechanic on heavy equipment for Radius Recycling in Everett, retiring due to illness.
He was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed fishing and hunting for mushrooms.
His funeral will be held Saturday, December 21, from the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be held Saturday morning, December 21, from 8:00 to 9:30 AM in the funeral home. The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations in his memory made to Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570.
