Charlene (nee Charles E.) Byrne,70, of Brookline, passed peacefully on Dec. 13, 2024 after a long illness.
Charlene was the parent of Lottie Welter and the late Chick Byrne, and the grandparent of Etta Welter, all of West Roxbury. She was the child of the late Mary Virginia (Griffin) and Robert E. Byrne, the sibling of Robert E. and Cheryl of TN, Madelyn of Boston, Virginia and Ron Cooke of FL, and the late Stephen W. Also survived by nephews and niece Rob E. Byrne III, Katherine Sheffield, and Nicklaus Schnakenberg, as well as many cousins, extended family, and former spouse Loretta A. Lennon.
