Joseph "Joe" Francis Galvin III of Beverly Massachusetts, formerly of Tewksbury Massachusetts, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Joe was born in Lowell, Massachusetts to the late Joseph Francis Galvin Jr. and Katherine (Mollahan) Galvin, on April 6, 1957. He graduated from Tewksbury High School as a star football player. Joe graduated Salem State University with a degree in Business Administration. In 1980, Joe was hired as a sales representative by a division of the George Banta Corporation, Northwestern Colorgraphics in Menasha, Wisconsin. He worked in the printing/prepress business for over 30 years. Joe was an extremely successful sales executive, and was well respected by his competitors and peers. Joe enjoyed spending time in the winter in North Conway with his family. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed weekly visits to Ipswich Country Club playing golf with his friends.
Joseph Galvin is survived by his two children, Jennifer Galvin and Matthew Galvin, who were the most important part of his life and whom he always held to be his greatest accomplishment; his former wife Linda (Vaillancourt); his siblings Judy Chartier and her husband Jeff Chartier, John “Jack” Galvin, Kathy Neylon, and Pam Galvin (deceased). Joe will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
