Alcino Lino Dasilva (70) of Brockton died December 10th at home under hospice care surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Madalena (Delact) Dasilva of Brockton.
He was born in Luanda, Angola, son of the late Lino Manuel Pedro and Maria Grigoria Dasilva. Alcino worked as a line lab worker in the manufacturing industry and a member of the Brockton 7th Day Adventist Church. He loved watching Benfica, playing his guitar, eating Bacalhu, walking with his wife at DW Park and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 6 sons, Rogerio Faial, Valter Faial, Bruno Faial, John Reverdes, Amilcar Reverdes and Jerome Delact, 4 daughters, Julia Reverdes, Silva Faial, Leonilde Ribeiro and Liandra Delact, 4 brothers, Francisco, Valdemiro, John and Adelino, 6 sisters,Veva, Natalia, Fatima, Beatrice, Candida and Adelina, 25 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday December 15th from 4-7 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Monday December 16th at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing from 9 am prior to services.
