Cheryl A. Noonan, 69

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Cheryl A. (Casano) Noonan, age 69, of Mansfield, formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of Kevin P. Noonan, to whom she was wed on May 27, 1978 at Stonehill College in Easton.

Born in Boston, MA on December 2, 1955, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph I. and Dorothy P. (Saya) Casano.

Cheryl spent her younger childhood living in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston. Her family later moved to Stoughton, where she was a 1973 graduate of Stoughton High School and attended Burdett College in Boston.

A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Cheryl had also worked as a realtor and a sales representative in the high-tech industry. She had recently moved back to Mansfield after residing at White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth for ten years. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield and while her children were growing up, was active with the Mansfield Gridiron Club, serving a as former club vice-president.

Cheryl’s family, especially her grandchildren; whom she loved dearly, were always her first priority and when her kids were growing up, she was like a second mother to their friends and a role model to all alike. Cheryl was passionate about the ocean and family vacations spent on Nantucket created memories that will last a lifetime. A person who received so much pleasure socializing with others, Cheryl will always be fondly remembered for her generosity and upbeat nature.

In addition to her beloved husband of forty-six years, she is survived by her devoted children, Jason K. Noonan and his wife Kristen of West Bridgewater and Ashley E. D’Ambra and her husband Tyler of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother Blake, Brooklyn and Brayden Noonan and Carter, Arianna and Landon D’Ambra. She was the dear sister of Joseph Casano of Taunton, Cynthia Buckley and her husband Thomas of Mansfield and Craig Casano and his wife Jeanine of Bourne. She was the much-loved sister-in-law of Gerald Noonan and his wife Gail of Raynham and the loving aunt of Sean, Ryan, Brendan, Patrick, Michael, Kerin, Elizabeth, Jake, Jessie, Olivia, Janelle and Kyle. She was the devoted daughter -in-law of the late Joseph and Mayrose Noonan.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 12th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 13th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. There will be no burial following the services.
