Carol Louise (McNamara) Copsetta, 65, passed away peacefully on December 5th following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was married to the late Ronald Copsetta of Fall River.
Carol was born in Boston, December 1, 1959, the daughter of the late William A. and Theresa V. (Sheil) McNamara. Carol was raised in the Lower Mills area of Dorchester and had lived in Greenville, North Carolina for many years before moving back to Massachusetts recently to be closer to friends and family.
Carol had been an assembler for the General Motors Corporation. She enjoyed knitting and loved her music loud. She had a great sense of humor and her sarcasm was hilarious. She was always cracking jokes to make us smile.
She is survived by her son, Justin Copsetta of Lakeville and his daughter. She is also survived by her sisters, Theresa “Terry” Brawley of Franklin, Maureen "Mo" Watson of Arizona and Erin J. McNamara of Revere.
She was the sister of the late William A. McNamara, Jr., Paul D. McNamara and Sean McNamara.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved her.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be planned for the Spring of 2025 for family and friends to attend. We'll update with further details next year.
