Ana Delia Rivas was born in Dorado, Puerto Rico on December 28, 1938. Her parents were Felix Rivera Robles from Ciales and Estanisla Santos Santiago from Morovis, Puerto Rico. She had 12 siblings of which 6 are still with us, Ruth Mirian Camacho, Migdalia Gonzalez, Javier Ortiz, Ana Michelle Rivas, Hector Rivas, Jr. and Maria Rivas. She was blessed with 25 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. In 1968, Ana came to live in the City of Boston with her children where she worked in a factory to raise her family. In that same year Ana gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and for the last 56 years she was active in the service of the Lord. In the words of her daughter in law Nereida Monroig "She was a virtuous woman and a warrior of God" She was faithful to God until her last moment. She was always working for God, and she never refused to work for Him. Now she is resting. It was not a loss, but a gain for the Kingdom of Heaven, as she has fought the good fight and finished the race. We will always remember her with lots of love.
