Raymond A. Sanchez Jr., 82, of Whitman MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday November 28th.
Ray was born in Boston as the only child of Raymond A. Sanchez Sr and Katherine (Conroy) Sanchez. He was a graduate of Boston English High School and a long term employee of General Dynamics.
He was the beloved husband and partner to Rosalie (Scarlata) Sanchez for 61 years. His legacy continues on with their 6 children, Lauren Hunter and her husband John, Andrea Sanchez, Katherine Murray and her husband Tim, Raymond Sanchez III, Vincent Sanchez and his wife Jessica, Monica Moynihan and her husband Richard. Ray was beyond proud to be known as “Papa” to all 18 of his Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Monday December 9th from 4pm-7pm at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
A funeral services will be held at 10 am on the morning of Tuesday December 10th also at Blanchards, with a burial to follow at Colebrook cemetery, Whitman.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of Brockton.
