Francis M. Rogers, 95, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Hope Health Hospice Center. He was the husband of Bernadette L. (Adam) Rogers, they shared 11 years of marriage. He was also husband of the late Margaret Rogers and former husband of the late Caroline Rogers.
Mr. Rogers was born in Dartmouth, son of the late John D. and Maude (Mosher) Rogers and had been a longtime resident of Fall River. A veteran of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Prior to retirement, he worked as a mechanic for Hertz. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5392, Tiverton and enjoyed going to car shows to see the antique cars.
Survivors along with his wife include his children: Joan Rourk of TN, Steven Rogers of SC, Christine Paulsen of ID, Toni McKiver of SC and Roy Rogers of GA; a sister: Arlene Belliveau of Rochester, MA; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by many siblings.
Memorial visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home from 9-10 A.M.
Interment to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:15 A.M.
