PORTER- Tilman (Tim) R. Webster, age 78, passed away December 2, 2024,
at home after a courageous battle with throat cancer.
He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan to parents Arthur and Lottie (Hearl)
Webster on July 31, 1945.
After graduating from Willow Run High School, he enlisted in the Navy,
serving on the USS Saratoga. He was honorably discharged in August of
1969, and transferred to the Naval Reserve.
After returning from Vietnam, he worked at Ford Motor Co. and GE Co. in
Michigan.
He is predeceased by a brother Chuck and his parents- Arthur and
Lottie Webster.
He is survived by his wife Sandy (Calnan) Webster, a son Robert, a
daughter Stacey, a brother Ted, a sister Gail, many nieces and nephews, 2
grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 stepchildren, 11 step
grandchildren, and 20 step great grandchildren.
Tim enjoyed black powder competitions, model ships, engraving, and
reading.
Per Tims’s request, there will be no services, and there will be a private
funeral at sea at a later date.
