Margaret A. Campbell, 81

Margret A. (McLaughlin) Campbell, age 81, a resident of Bellingham for the past fifteen years, formerly of Milford and Medway, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Born in Somerville, MA on November 26, 1943, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles P. and Catherine I. (Turner) Mclaughlin.
Peggy grew up in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston and was a 1962 graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, a fashion show sales demo operator and ambitious commercial dress buyer. .She had been certified as a nursing assistant since May 18, 1998 at the Retirement Home for the Sisters of Joseph Prior and also worked at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham and later was employed at Bethany Healthcare, also in Framingham.
Peggy was a member and served as a former president of the America Legion Women’s Auxillary in Medway. She loved going to Maine and Yogi Bear Park with her family and enjoyed taking long walks along the beach with her Dalmatian “Domino”. Peggy loved her family dearly and always enjoyed talking about her aunt Sister Greta Turner and how she lived as long as she did to the age of 106. She will always be remembered as a hard worker throughout her life.
She was the devoted mother of Joanne Andrade of East Weymouth, William McFadden of Rhode Island and the late Charles P. McFadden. She was the cherished grandmother of Vincent Andrade, David Andrade and his wife Tameisha, Steven Andrade, Amber McFadden and William McFadden. She was the treasured great grandmother of Lucas Andrade and the step great grandmother of Aaliyah Daniel. She was the dear sister of the late Charles McLaughlin and his wife Anne, Edward McLaughlin, Eleanor Pow and her husband Jack, Kathleen Shire and her husband Edward and Frances Endruschat and her husband Richard. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews, as well as Kathy Wright, who provided her with exceptional care and her adored cat, Rosie.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, December 8th from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
Her funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9th at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
