Jeanne A. (Cestari) Christian, age 78, passed away on November 29, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on August 2, 1946 in Ludlow, MA, daughter of the late Adolf and Stella (Provost) Cestari. Jeanne worked as a cook at a restaurant for many years before she retired. She is survived by her beloved husband Samuel Christian of Chicopee; one son, Adam Mercado of Chicopee; one brother James Cestari of FL; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sister-in-law Mary Pirog along with Mary’s husband and kids. She is predeceased by her sister Theresa Benjamin. A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee.
