Salem

Henry L Ouellette, 71, of Salem, passed away on November 28, 2024 of Cardiac Failure at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the loving husband of Jill L. (Bown) Ouellette with whom he shared 23 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Leo E. and Noella J. (Levesque) Ouellette. Henry was a graduate of Salem Vocational High School and was employed by the Salem Hospital in the shipping and receiving department. Henry also later worked part time for the Salem News in the same capacity while continuing with the Salem Hospital. He retired with 49 years with the hospital.
Henry and Jill met in 1980 and were married in 2001. Henry was devoted to Jill and his family. He was an adventurer of the simple life, and was an avid fan of all the Boston sports teams. He also enjoyed music, cars, fireworks and his favorite pipe.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sisters, Jeanne M. O’Donoghue and husband Robert of Ipswich, Rita A. Romanovitz and husband Keith of Daytona Beach, FL, Ann E. Conner and husband Merritt Lyon of Hamilton as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings, Raymond Ouellette and Linda Philibert.
Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. His funeral service in the funeral Home will be on Friday, Dec. 6th at 10:00 AM followed by a committal service in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
