John Thomas Green, a Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, at the age of 81. Born on May 10, 1943, in Montserrat West Indies. John was the cherished son of the late Margaret Green and Wilford Green.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jane Green, and his loving daughters, Therese Green and Christine Johnson. John was a proud Grandfather to Olivia Green and Vance M. Johnson II, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, George Francis, and sisters; Helen Oliver and Sarah Pemberton, along with numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his siblings Rupert, Harold, Prince, Lizzie, Jackie, and Rebecca.
John had many talents: A Skilled Carpenter, well known for his unique Woodworking skills, craftsmanship and dedication to his work. His talents extended beyond his trade, as he was also celebrated for his Culinary skills, delighting family and friends with his cooking.
John's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family and his community. He was a man of integrity and kindness, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service to honor John's life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Parish of All Saints, located at 209 Ashmont St, Dorchester, MA 02124. Family and Friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and to celebrate the legacy John leaves behind.
