Obituary

MEREDITH ---- Craig Snow, 67, of Blueberry Hill Road, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2024, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Craig was born to Roger Snow and Gloria Yost Snow in Laconia, NH, in 1957. The family relocated to Haverhill, MA, and Craig graduated from Haverhill High School where he met lifelong friends. Craig went to work with his father in construction and would later start his own successful business Seasno Construction. Over the years, he was a Senior Project Manager at F.G. Antell & Sons, Vice President of Facilities at J. Jill, and Vice President of Energy Solutions/Facilities at New Hampshire Electric Cooperative where he retired.

His true passion was his family, especially being a father. Craig’s son Zack was the center of his world. The family grew when Craig met Lori Sharp and her daughter Megan in 2004. He always made time with the kids his priority, from quad racing with Zack to attending dance recitals for Megan, Craig was their biggest fan. He was overjoyed when he became a Papa to his grandchildren Wyatt, Isla, and Lennon.

Craig was kind, giving and always positive. When you were in his presence you had his full attention and knew that he genuinely cared. He was compassionate and a devoted friend who lived by the theory of treating others how you would want to be treated. His wisdom came in many forms, and it seemed there was nothing Craig did not know how to do. He had varying hobbies, which included motorcycling, hunting, and rebuilding vintage cars and trucks. You could often find Craig in his shop with Zack re-building a car engine or doing bodywork on one of his vintage vehicles.

Craig was a successful hunter locally as well as in Pittsburg, NH with friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting trips to Anticosti and Montana. Craig received the Trophy Deer Award in 1998 from the New Hampshire Fish and Game for a 237 lb. 8-point deer harvested with a muzzleloader. Some would say deer seemed to walk right to him. He enjoyed camping at his favorite spots, Cape Cod and Salisbury State Reservation. Maui held a special place in Craig’s heart and he and Lori last visited there in March of this year. Craig felt a strong connection to the ocean and nature; a place to rest and reset. In Moab, UT Craig developed an interest in exploring with his son Zack and pushing the limits of their jeeps on trails that most would not attempt, but life was for living and Craig was always up for a challenge.

Craig battled lung cancer for over 5 years. Always positive and never complaining, he was thankful for his medical team at Dana Farber.

Craig is survived by his partner Lori Sharp, son Zack and daughter-in-law Marissa, step-daughter Megan Dyer and her husband Nick, grandchildren, Wyatt, Isla, and Lennon. He also leaves behind a brother Bruce and his close cherished friends that he held very dear.

To honor Craig, he would want you to not be sad but think of all the fun we had along the way.

Craig’s family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.

For those who wish, the family suggests memorial donations in Craig’s name be made to Pemigewasset Valley Fish & Game Club, PO Box 38 Plymouth, NH 03264.
