Kathleen A. (Pigott) Griffin, age 76, of Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Accent Care Inpatient Hospice Center in Milton.
Born in Pittsfield, MA on June 14, 1948, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph and Jean (Rampino) Pigott.
Kathy grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston and was educated in Hyde Park schools. Following high school, she continued her education; graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Bay State College and also took classes at Rhode Island School of Design.
Prior to retiring, Kathleen had been employed as an office manager in Braintree. She had made her home in Attleboro for the past four years, previously resided in Mansfield and her favorite times were those spent with her adoring family.
She is survived by her devoted children, Jodi B. Griffin and her companion Mark of Brooklyn, New York and Daniel J. Griffin and his wife Kittima of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Maximus L. Griffin of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Maureen Ryan and her husband Paul of Weymouth, Margaret Spencer of West Island, Eileen Catizone of Woburn, Richard Pigott and his wife Louise of Southbridge and the late Joseph Pigott. She is also survived by her countless nieces and nephews and her faithful and beloved dog Brodie.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Saturday, December 14th from 3:00-4:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A service in celebration of her life will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
