Keng Helen Mumuluh (née Aseh), affectionately known as Mami Leo, aged 70, was born in Babanki Tungo, Cameroon, and passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She is survived by her husband of 48 years marriage, Pa Michael Mumuluh (Pa Leo); her children, Immaculate, Leonard, Laura, Roland, Francis, Bernard, and Roy; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Ma Helen owned and operated a restaurant for over 10 years at the renowned Bota Customs Canteen in Limbe, Cameroon. After retiring from the restaurant business, she devoted her time supervising various business projects, traveling and looking after her grandchildren.
She was a devoted Baptist Christian and served as chair of the women's group at the Berean Baptist Church, Mile 5 Limbe, Cameroon. She was actively involved in the construction of the church and never missed an opportunity to raise funds to support the church and other community-related projects.
Luwain Keng, as she will be referred to by members of the Kejom Ketinguh Cultural and Development Association (KEKULDA), was a very active member and held various leadership roles within the group.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
