Edna Jean (White) Richard, 87, of Bellingham died November 26 at the Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Alfred F. Richard who died in 2017.
Born in Rochester, New York, August 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Oakley and Dorothy (Turner) White, Edna was raised in Norwood and had lived in Bellingham since 1957.
Edna worked several years at the old Packard Mills in Caryville (Bellingham), General Display in Medway, and her favorite job at Bradford Novelties in Bellingham where she packaged Christmas decorations. Wherever she worked, it was always side-by-side with her best friend, the late Gerry Lapio of Bellingham.
Edna enjoyed the holidays immensely. She especially loved Christmas and was known to go all out in her decorations and tune in to Christmas music as soon as the radio began playing it. Edna loved her flower gardens, miniature farm garden, Hawaiian-themed sun porch, playing cards, and going to the casinos. She especially enjoyed doing crafts and belonged to a local craft club with her bestie Gerry.
Edna is survived by her children Thomas Richard and his wife Debra of Millville, Joseph Richard and his wife Lucinda DeMoura of Bellingham, Deborah Richard and her partner Collin McCarthy of Nathalie, Virginia, Donna Richard of Bellingham, and John Richard of Attleboro.
She is also survived by her brother Arthur White of Franklin and was the sister of the late Beatrice (White) Wentworth of Rochester, NY, Gerald White of Rochester, NY, Geraldine (White) Roscia of Dedham, MA, Helen (White) Richard of Medway, Mildred (White) Dean of Milford, and Gordon White of Milford.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Ana, Victor, Brian and Kevin and her great-grandchildren Mathew, Christian, Ian, Emma, Nate, Samantha, Michael, Avery, and Paisley.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30 .
