Obituary

Robert “Bob” Martineau passed away November 25th after a long illness in his home surrounded by his three daughters. Born in Manchester, to Joseph and Irene (Blanchard) Martineau. He was predeceased by his son Kevin, December 24, 1974 and his wife Lucille S.(Laliberte) on July 12, 2017.
Bob was a sought-after front-end mechanic prior to his retirement, he was a fourth degree Knights of Columbus, friend to all that knew him. He would do anything for a friend or family member. Bob recently received recognition from the Commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and was a quilt of valor recipient. Bob enlisted into the Army at the age of 17 and served three tours in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971. He was a proud patriot who lived for his family. Memere/Pepere days, Christmas traditions and slumber parties with his grands were some of his favorite things to be a part of.
Family members include his three daughters, Kelley Murphy, her husband Sean, Kacey Spicer, her husband Ronald, Kristy Bissonnette, her husband Brian, along with eight grandchildren, Robert Wood, Jeremy Murphy, Cole and George Chandler, Liam and Sydney Murphy, Lilly and Holley Bissonnette, a brother Roger Martineau, wife Linda, sister Louise Bell, husband James, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by a brother Raymond Martineau.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St. A committal service with military honors will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date.
