CHICOPEE – Dennis J. Letters, 66, a longtime resident of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, November 10, 2024. He passed into Eternal Life at Pioneer Valley Health and Rehabilitation in South Hadley surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Chamonix, France on March 17, 1958, a beloved son of the late John G. Letters and Phyllis Ann (Moran) Letters. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and lived in the Fairview section of Chicopee for most of his life. Dennis furthered his education and received an Associate Degree in Electronics. He was employed as a Computer Assembler for the Digital Corporation in Maynard, Massachusetts and was last employed in the maintenance department at UMASS in Amherst. He was a member of the New Life Christian Church in Westfield. He leaves many dear friends. His friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
