Mark C. Moon passed away peacefully at home in the company of his loving family on Saturday morning, November 23rd. He was 67. Born and raised in Medford, He was the son of the late Edwin J. and Anne (Geary) Moon.
Mark graduated Medford High School with the class of 1976. He served with the United States Marine Corps Reserves for several years and he worked as an operations manager with Budweiser Beer in Medford for 25 years. After his retirement, Mark worked as a bus driver with the Merrimack Valley Transit Authority. Mark was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. A resident of Methuen for over thirty years, Mark enjoyed being with his family and friends. A big Patriots fan, Mark loved a good party, travelling to Florida for time on the beach, going for a rollercoaster ride at Busch Gardens, making a visit to Foxwoods or spending the night at Danky’s Tavern. Mark was happiest with those he loved.
The beloved husband of Nanci (Cacicio) MHS’78, Mark was a loving dad to Ashley Moon and her partner Adam Curet. He was a proud and devoted papa to Julianna and Lincoln. He was the dear brother of Michael, Paul, Brian and the late Eddie Moon. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday morning, November 29th, 10 – Noon with a funeral service in the funeral home at Noon. Services will conclude with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mark's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
