Richard N. Kelley, 93, of July St., Sanford, Me, died Tuesday August 27, 2002 in the Newton Center Nursing Home, Sanford. He was born in Sandown, NH on October 1, 1908, the son of the late Harrison and Ada (Thurston) Kelley. He had been a lifelong resident of Sandown before moving to Alfred, Me, and more recently Sanford, Me. He was self employed as a carpenter. He was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his three sons, Edward Kelley, Littleton, NH, Norman Kelley, Citrus Heights, Ca, David Kelley, Boxford, Ma, three daughters, Theresa Rennie, Byron Center, Mi, Kathleen Lantz, Kittery, Me, Louise Kugler, Kennebunkport, Me, 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, his sister, Florence Tancredi, Stoneham, Ma, also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ida M. (Normandeau) Kelley in 2000.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 31st at 9:30am in Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry, NH.
