Daniel R. Amazeen, age 75, passed away on November 17, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on February 13, 1949 In Springfield, son of the late Delmer Amazeen and Stella (Wlodyka) Amazeen. Daniel worked as an equipment operator for the Springfield Parks Department for many years before he retired. He was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed camping, fishing and puzzles. He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne Amazeen of Chicopee; one daughter, Laura Amazeen-LaPlante and her husband Josh LaPlante of Chicopee; one grandchild, Inara LaPlante; his sister-in-law Shirley Landry of Easthampton and brother-in-law, Bob Landry and his partner John Bovat of Durham, NH. He is predeceased by his brother William Wlodyka. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory can be made to the Thomas J.
