Brenda Jean Paulk, 72, of Alapaha, Georgia, died Monday, November 18, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church, in Irwin County, Georgia, with Elder Richard Pinnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.
Mrs. Paulk was born September 10, 1952, in Tifton, Georgia to Odelia Rudeseal and the late Henry Eugene Rudeseal. She was a kind and compassionate homemaker and was the greatest cook that ever lived. Mrs. Paulk loved tomatoes and Mexican food. She enjoyed fishing, going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Paulk enjoyed singing at church, directing the choir and singing with the Heaven’s Echoes, the Changed Hearts and the Paulk Family.
She is survived by her husband, Elder Marvin Paulk of Alapaha; a daughter, Melinda Purvis of Brookfield; grandchildren: Jayden Purvis, Alexis Purvis, Lexi Paulk and Levi Paulk, all of Alapaha; and her mother, Odelia Rudeseal of Alapaha. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Markus Paulk and a brother, Breman Rudeseal.
