June A. Marzullo (Amodeo) passed away peacefully at the Lahey Clinic of Burlington on Friday, November 15th. She was 95 years old. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Domiano) Amodeo.
A Woburn resident for over 50 years, June was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. In her younger years, she worked as an accountant with General Electric. In her later years June worked with her late husband in operating his restaurant, Deli of Course, in Woburn. A wonderful and friendly woman, June always looked forward to hosting parties and celebrating special events and holidays with all her family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Anthony Marzullo who passed away last year, June was the devoted mother of Anthony Marzullo, Jr. of Woburn, Eleanor Stephens and her husband Mark of Methuen, and Anna Agri of Woburn. June was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of the late Geraldine Amodeo, Rose Navarro, Joseph Amodeo, Gerald Amodeo, and Estelle Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, on Friday, November 22nd from 5 – 8 PM and again on Saturday morning, November 23 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in June's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
