Brenda C. McGee, 60, of Worcester died Thursday, November 14th at home. She leaves her beloved son, Samuel McGee and his partner, Katherine Paine of New Haven, CT; her father, Richard F. McGee of Worcester; a brother, Timothy McGee of Leominster; two sisters, Eileen McGee and Maureen Burke both of Worcester; and two nephews, Dennis Burke and Zachary Dittami. She was predeceased by her eldest sister, Kathleen McGee.
She was born in Lynn and was the cherished daughter of the late Anne T. (Scalley) McGee. Brenda was a proud graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and earned her Associates degree from Quinsigamond Community College. Brenda dedicated many years to working as a Personal Care Assistant, first at Memorial Home Health Care and later in private care, where her kindness and devotion touched many lives.
Her joy was found in simple pleasures: gardening, immersing herself in the beauty of nature, reading, and visiting the serene beaches of Cape Cod. Above all, Brenda cherished her role in helping others, which was central to her generous and loving spirit.
Her funeral is Monday, November 25th with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. John’s Catholic Church, 44 Temple Street followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street. A visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
