Elisha Purvis, 85, of Wray, Georgia, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 5, at New Hope Cemetery, Coffee County, with Rev. Billy Mills officiating. Visitation will be held at 7 until 9 Friday evening at the Funeral Home in Ocilla.
Mr. Purvis was born March 14, 1921, in Irwin County, to the late Richard and Nancy Joyce Purvis. He was a farmer and lived in the Wray community all of his life.
Mr. Purvis is survived by two brothers: Quincy Purvis, Sr., of Ambrose and Ben Purvis of Ocilla; several nieces and nephews.
