Obituary

Eleanor L. Gregson, 81, of Glocester, passed away on Thursday November 14th. She was the beloved wife of Thomas E. Gregson. They had been married for 51 years.

She was born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Chester and Jeanette (Jacques) Martineau.

Eleanor, also known as Pinky, loved all her family and those were truly her dearest friends. She was very giving and had a generous heart. She was a true believer of having dessert first before a meal and always said she was going to flirt until they threw dirt on her grave. She had a playful and imaginative spirit that was wonderful to be around.

Eleanor loved to laugh, sing, dance, paint, garden and take long walks with her beloved husband and little dog, Gracie. She will be greatly missed.

Besides her husband she leaves her children, Mark Paquin and his wife Elizabeth of Johnston and Lisa Fuller and her husband Sean of Mapleville. She was the grandmother of 4 and great-grandmother of 3. She was also the sister of Carol Hugenin of Chepachet, and Ronald Fournier of Cumberland, as well as the sister of the late Jeannette Bouchard of Cumberland.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 1pm in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet, RI with a celebration of her life to follow at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Sean and Lisa Fuller.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Glocester Animal Shelter, 121 Chestnut Hill Road, Chepachet, RI 02814.
