LEDYARD: Bryan Kevin Hall, 68, of Ledyard passed away on November 13, 2024 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Bryan was born on March 6, 1956 in New London, CT to Donald Richard Hall and Joan Irene Williams. Bryan grew up in Montville, CT and graduated from Montville High School.
Bryan was married to his loving wife Penny Hall on February 20, 1982. He worked at Electric Boat as a pipefitter for 20 years and worked in public works and later became a supervisor for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation for 10 years. He was very proud of his Mashantucket and Eastern Pequot heritage. He had a love for all types of music and taught himself how to play the drums, harmonica and the Native American flute. He also liked to play videogames. He loved the martial arts and watching Westerns. He loved watching UCONN women's basketball and his football team, the Washington Commanders. One of Bryan's most favorite things was Starburst candy.
Bryan's native name is Warrior or Punees in the Pequot language. Punees means "to fall on purpose" because they were first in battle and went willingly to protect their family and tribe.
