Obituary

HOLYOKE – Ashley Nicole Breyare, 37 of Holyoke, was Called Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born in Springfield on September 8, 1987 a beloved daughter of Leslie Ann (Breyare) Gardner of Chicopee. She was raised in Holyoke, graduated from Holyoke High School and lived in Holyoke for most of her life. She later furthered her education and attended Greenfield Community College. Ashley was employed as a Bartender at the City Line Café in Springfield and also at Jocko’s Place in Chicopee. She previously worked numerous other establishments including the Windsor Café and My Brother’s Place, both in Chicopee. Ashley was a Miami Dolphins and Montreal Canadian’s fan and enjoyed drawing and writing. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chicopee Falls. Most of all, she was a wonderful woman who loved her family and her many friends. Besides her beloved mother, she leaves behind the love of her life, Daniel J. Bisson of Holyoke; her loving grandparents, Arthur and Janice (Goddu) Breyare, and Charlene (Desroches) Martin, all of Chicopee; her cherished sister, Alyssa N. Scribner and her children, Jocelyn and Jackson; her cherished brother, Aaron J. Scribner and Samantha, of Chattanooga, TN; her loving aunt, Melanie L. Krodel and her husband, Mark, and their children, Casey, Brooke, Lindsay, Ryan, and Melissa ; her uncle, Stephen McCurdy and his daughter, Meghan; her loving aunt, Cheri McCurdy and her sons, Jacob and Samuel; and her many dear cousins, numerous loving friends, and her extended family members. She will be sadly missed by her feline companion, her loving cat, Naven. She was predeceased her uncle, Sean McCurdy; her grandmother Charlene’s companion, Francis Stefanik; and Mario Bisson who she loved like her dad. Her relatives and friends are invited to Visiting Hours on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
