It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Walters on November 11, 2024.
Terry was born in Lynn and raised in Salem, MA, She was the daughter of late Joseph Darisse and Jeannette (Motard) Darisse. She is survived by her husband, William Walters, her son Jonathan, son Kevin and wife, Sandy, and her granddaughters Kaila, Alexis, Sydney, and Megan. Terry was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
A passionate servant of the Catholic faith, Terry had a deep connection to Saint Anne’s church in Salem. She was an active church goer, an associate member of the Sisters of Saint Chretienne, associate of SASV, and worked for many years as a CCD teacher and church secretary. Terry was known for her love of music, knitting, and crafting. She enjoyed her frequent visits to the Salem Community Center, where she made many dear friends.
Terry touched the lives of many with her warm heart and generous spirit. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visiting hours for Terry will be on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, MA, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Ste. Anne’s Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11:00 AM. Burial at a later date will be private. The family welcomes donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
