Therese R. Lemerise, 98 died November 10, 2024 at CMC following a brief illness.
She was born in Coaticook, PQ. Canada on March 30, 1926 the daughter of Möise and Rose-Aline (Cloutier) Cormier.
Prior to her retirement she worked for Pandora.
She was Charter member of the Daughters of Isabella, and a longtime parishioner of St. George Church and current parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral.
She was predeceased by her husband Rolland P. Lemerise in 1988.
Family members include one son, Normand Lemerise of Manchester, two daughters; Solange Lemerise of Manchester and Diane Boulanger (Husband Viateur) of FL., four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two brothers; Normand Cormier, Philippe Cormier and his wife, Lousie both of Coaticook, PQ., one sister; Pauline Lauzon of Sherbrook, PQ., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 3 to 6 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Cathedral and burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home in order to defray funeral costs.
