Maria Resende (Pipizinha) (75) of Brockton passed away peacefully on November 8th in the St Joseph Manor Health Care.
She was born in Cabo Verde, daughter of the late Antonia Mendes and Henrique Goncalves. Maria everywhere she went or everything she did was with her children in mind. She loved her church, baking bread. Maria was funny and loved spending quality time with family and friends.
Maria is survived by 5 sons, Luis Guilherme Monteiro (Joazinho), Jorge Monteiro, (Jorge), Justimiano Monteiro (Guilherme), Justino Monteiro (Justino) and Gilberto Monteiro
(Mindo)4 brothers, Carminda, Daniel, Mino and Lion, 24 grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws and many cousins.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday November 13th from 5-8 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Thursday November 14th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
