Heaven gained another angel in the early hours of Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Claudette Kiley of Bedford NH passed away surrounded by love and family at The Arbors of Bedford following a period of declining health.
Claudette was born in Rockville Centre, NY on November 23, 1948, the daughter of Charles Claude Pace and Jacqueline Rose (Morris) Pace. She spent many happy years growing up in Smithtown, Long Island, NY with her parents, sister and beloved grandmother and graduated from Smithtown Central High School, Smithtown, New York, Class of 1966. Claudette was a very talented artist especially in acrylics. She was also a very talented piano player and writer and enjoyed skiing and horseback riding. The family moved to Manchester, NH in 1970. Claudette greatly enjoyed cooking family favorites and trying out new recipes and she is remembered for being a fantastic cook and hostess. Living near the beach throughout her youth gave her a great love of the ocean and she spent many happy times with family and friends in Ogunquit, ME enjoying fabulous seafood, great drinks, walks along the Marginal Way and sitting on the sand at the beautiful coast. She was a great lover of animals especially many beloved cats throughout her life.
Claudette was predeceased by her loving husband of nearly forty years, Lawn Kiley Jr., on August 11, 2024. She is survived by her greatly loved family and children including her daughter Jennifer Goyette and her husband David of Manchester, NH, Brent Kiley and his wife, April of Bedford, NH, Bryan Kiley and his wife Kerri of Sterling, MA, four grandchildren; Braden, Addison, Christopher and Corey, her sister; Denise Moore and husband, John of Manchester, NH as well as many extended, loving family members.
A funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 11 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Bedford, NH.
