ST. JOHNSBURY, VT ---- Mark Steven White, 55, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones after a long, courageous battle of pancreatic cancer.
Mark was born on May 13, 1969, in Newport, VT, the son of Marvin Keith White and Doris Sarah Choquette.
Mark loved riding motorcycles, music, college football, sports, and tinkering. He was a foodie; he enjoyed cooking, trying different foods and eating. Mark enjoyed going to concerts. One in which he attended for Candlebox he met the love of his life, Shannon Ferry. Mark was always very supportive of his children, attending sports games and being there for them. He was an easy-going man, always making friends wherever he went; he would talk to anybody and everybody.
Mark is survived by his fiancé Shannon Ferry; sons Nicholas White, Robert Ferry, Taylor Ferry and Dakota Masten; daughters Hannah Ferry and Brandy Church; brother Richard White (Jessica); sister Susan Gorse (James); parents Marvin White and his partner Ruth Earl, and Doris Choquette; nieces Isabel Gorse and Gillian Gorse; and nephews Coty White and John White. He will be greatly missed by many friends especially by Lee LaBounty, Charlie Robinson, Michelle Magoon and Royce Masten who were there for him and his family throughout the difficult times.
Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 6:00 pm also at the funeral home.
