William Craig Plummer
May 14, 1942-November 4, 2024
William “Craig” Plummer went home to Jesus on November 4th, 2024 at the age of 82 after a brief illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Craig was born to Jess and Marjorie Plummer on May 14th, 1942 in Anderson, Indiana. He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1960. While attending and graduating from Culver Military Academy in the summers between 1956–1959. After graduating Parsons College in Iowa, he moved back to Anderson to help with his father’s roofing business. He retired from Trinidad Roofing and moved on to Leath Furniture where he was a respected employee. Craig was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord Jesus with others and was an integral part of the church community. Craig was a member of Madison Park Church of God and Whetstone Christian Church. He participated in and led many bible studies throughout his later life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Marjorie (Wells) Plummer, and his brother Jim Plummer.
He is survived by many loving family members, including his wife Casandra (Maupin) Plummer; his children, Mike (Abby) Plummer, Mark Plummer, Matthew Plummer; stepchildren, Connie (Mike) Herndon, and David Maupin; his sister, Pam Anello; his grandchildren, Taylor, Macayla, Calder, Jesse, Justin, Ryan, Hailey, and Addie; one niece and three nephews; and multiple great grandchildren.
Now that Craig has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Craig’s physical life on Earth, it is the beginning of an eternal journey for him.

Service noon on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Rob Lowery officiating. Burial in Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.
Visitation will be held from 10 am to the service at noon at the funeral home.
