Richard W. Nadeau, 72, of Derry, NH died Monday July 31st at 3:15 PM at the Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was born in Concord, NH where he grew up and was educated. Richard has lived in Derry for the past 43 years. He retired from Grieco Brothers in Lawrence, MA where he worked as a garment cutter for many years. After retiring, Richard continued to work part time delivering for Meals On Wheels and NAPA Auto Parts until shortly before becoming ill.
Richard was an active member in St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry for 43 years and was a member of Men of St. Joseph. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Derry and the Holy Name Society in Manchester, NH. Richard enjoyed camping and horseshoes. He was loved and admired by many and will be truly missed. Richard is a gift from God and a gift to God.
He was predeceased by his children Richard Nadeau, Jr. and Prudence Nadeau.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10Am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry, NH followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry, NH. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
