Mary Reilly Mrozek, 97, passed away October 27, 2024, following an extended period of declining health. She was born June 18th, 1927 to John P. and Margaret (Montague) Reilly in Lowell, Massachusetts, the oldest of 4 siblings. Mary was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1945, and a proud member of Court Cardinal O’Connell, 930, Catholic Daughters of America. In 1953 she married WWII Navy veteran Joseph W. Mrozek of Manchester, New Hampshire. They moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin shortly thereafter to begin a new life. She was a loving, devoted mother to her children, Kathleen and Joseph, and a doting grandmother to her beloved grandson Nathan. She was an enthusiastic supporter and cheerleader for whatever sporting, scouting, academic or musical activity they were involved in. She endured violin, clarinet and guitar lessons before foam ear plugs were available. Truly a saint in the making. She was an outgoing, social woman who had many friends from all walks of life. She loved to dance and performed at local fairs with the Go West Dance Group in the Milwaukee area. She was an avid walker, a reader, a VERY vocal Packers/Bucks/Brewers fan, and an accomplished coronet player. She lived a life as varied as her interests. Mary is survived by daughter Kathleen (Mrozek) Eggenberger of Wauwatosa WI, son Joseph Mrozek Jr of Milwaukee WI, grandson Nathan Eggenberger of Philadelphia, PA, sister Madeline (Edward) Cheney of Pelham NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 29 years, Joseph Mrozek, her parents John and Margaret Reilly, her bother, John F. Reilly and sister Mildred Coxall.
