Samuel Francis (Sam) Coffey, 35, of Boston, passed away on Oct. 18, 2024. He was born in Gloucester, MA on Nov. 25, 1988 to Brian and Beth (Bohlken) Coffey. Sam was a graduate of Gloucester High School, class of 2007. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Elliott (husband John) and sister Rose Coffey (partner Morey Ronan), all of Gloucester; grandmother Karen Swaney of New Mexico; grandmother Shelia Pilger of Kansas; uncle Scott Spinney and cousin Ryan Spinney of Reading MA, as well as other cousins and extended family members. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Brian Coffey, grandparents Edward and Rita Coffey, uncle Edward Coffey, Jr., aunt Sheila Spinney, grandfather Donald Bohlken, and grandfather James Swaney. In lieu of funeral services, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Sam's memory.
