It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Rupert Morisset, who left this world on October 29, 2024, at the age of 83. Jean Rupert Morisset was born on June 23, 1941, in Mirebalais, Haiti, to his parents Jules Morisset and Antonia Jeremie.
Jean Rupert was one of loved and respected Child of his family. He shared his parents affection with his brothers, Nerrette Morisset, Yves Morisset, Carlo Morisset; his sisters Anne Marie Morisset, Joceline Morisset, and Jeannette Morisset.
Jean emigrated to the United States in 1996, he spent a year in Florida, before settling in Massachusetts in 1997. He had a long prodigious career in the health sector.
Jean Rupert was a devoted father and family man. Jean is predeceased by his beloved wife Marie Ange Morisset, with whom he shared a long and loving marriage, blessed with children, Gladys Morisset, and family, Gregory Peck Morisset, and family, Sandra Morisset and family, Dominique Pierre Morisset, and family, Siomara Vil Morisset, and family, Clivy Morisset Brutus, and family.
Jean Rupert was much loved for his positivity and humor. His life was marked by kindness, resilience, and an enduring commitment to those he loved. His presence brought warmth to all who knew him, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever.
Our condolences go out to his seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and to all other relatives affected by this bereavement.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Saturday November 23, 2024 from 8-9 AM followed by a Religious Service from 9-11:30 AM in the Tabernacle Congregation Baptist Church, 575 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA.
