Obituary

Carmen Haydee Vale Diaz (Tita), 75 of Coamo, Puerto Rico and a longtime resident of Boston,
Massachusetts was received into the arms of the Lord and Savior on October 22nd, 2024. Carmen was born in 1949 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to her mother, Gloria Ortiz and her father, Ruben Diaz. During her earlier years in the 60s, she moved to Brooklyn, New York
She was the mother of 3, Hippolito Burgos (deceased) Eliseo Burgos (deceased) and Jose Cotto.
She then moved to Boston in the 1970’s where she resided for the rest of her time and lived with her husband Felix Soto Vale until his last days. She found her faith in the Lord and was a woman of immense love and wisdom. Cherishing every moment with her loved ones, Carmen was the true foundation of her family. Carmen had unconditionally Love and had supported her family and friends in all their endeavors. She was selfless, loving and truly devoted to her family.
Carmen’s biggest pride was her relationship with God and how she taught everyone around her of his word. By putting Him first always, she proved to be a true woman of God. One of her daily advice was “To always have Faith!” She leaves behind her son Jose Cotto, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews & many friends who will hold her in the light and carry on her faith. She will be missed immensely by all and never forgotten by any heart touched by hers. May she rest in peace.

Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Monday, November 4, from 5PM - 8PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attended. Her family will gather again at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 5, from 10 am until 11 am before traveling to Fairview Cemetery for interment service.


Carmen Haydee Vale Díaz (Tita), de 75 años, de Coamo, Puerto Rico y residente de Boston desde hace mucho tiempo,
Massachusetts fue recibido en los brazos del Señor y Salvador el 22 de octubre de 2024. Carmen nació en 1949 en Bayamón, Puerto Rico, hija de su madre, Gloria Ortiz y su padre, Rubén Díaz. Durante sus primeros años en los años 60, se mudó a Brooklyn, Nueva York
Fue madre de 3 hijos, Hipólito Burgos (fallecido), Eliseo Burgos (fallecido) y José Cotto.
Luego se mudó a Boston en la década de 1970, donde residió por el resto de su tiempo y vivió con su esposo Félix Soto Vale hasta sus últimos días. Encontró su fe en el Señor y fue una mujer de inmenso amor y sabiduría. Apreciando cada momento con sus seres queridos, Carmen era la verdadera base de su familia. Carmen había amado incondicionalmente y había apoyado a su familia y amigos en todos sus esfuerzos. Era desinteresada, cariñosa y verdaderamente devota.


Horario de visita en la Funeraria Brady & Fallon, 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station), Jamaica Plain, el lunes 4 de noviembre, de 5 p.m. a 8 p.m. Se invita respetuosamente a familiares y amigos. Su familia se reunirá nuevamente en la funeraria el martes 5 de noviembre, de 10 a.m. a 11 a.m. antes de viajar al cementerio de Fairview para el servicio de entierro.
