Born in Tirana, Albania and immigrating to the United States in 2010, Elvisa quickly became a cherished member of her community, wholeheartedly contributing as a good and respectful citizen. For the past few years, she worked in the Human Resources Department at Massachusetts General Hospital, where her warmth, compassion, and dedication touched the lives of many. Elvisa had a profound love for travel, with a special fondness for Europe, and she often dreamed of visiting India. Her adventurous spirit was matched only by her passion for music and dancing, which brought joy to those around her. A true animal lover, she found happiness in the company of all creatures, big and small. Elvisa spread unmeasurable kindness and joy to her family, loved ones and friends. With her pure heart, she has shown genuine love and would sacrifice the utmost for the well-being and education of her two precious sons, Alex and Orik, as well as her beloved husband, Marsel and her well-treasured Mom, Sanije. Elvisa always made sure to provide for them and stand by them at every moment. These two last years she went through unimaginable suffering and struggle, because of the merciless disease that plagued her heavily, but still showed true strength, resilience, discipline, and never gave up hope, as a true fighter that she was all her life. It is beyond words hard for her two children, her husband, her mom, her sisters and loved ones not to have her around anymore, but they will find solace in the light she leaves behind. Her legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her calling hours will be on Wednesday, October 30th from 10:00am until 12:00pm in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. There is no funeral service. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street.
