Obituary

Kevin F. Murray, 55 died October 23, 2024 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA. following a brief illness.
He was born in Malden, MA., on October 30, 1968 the son of Robert M. Murray Sr. and Barbara (Grace) Murray. Kevin was the youngest of 5 children. He had three sisters: Barbara, Cathy and Betty as well as a brother, Robert M. Murray Jr. Kevin moved with his family to Manchester where he graduated from Central High 1986.
Kevin had a deep passion for sports. That led him to being a multi-sport athlete growing up and helped him develop lifelong friendships through golf and softball as an adult. If he wasn’t playing sports, he was likely watching them. There was rarely a weekend that he didn’t end up falling asleep watching golf, football, or basketball on the couch.
The only thing that Kevin loved more than sports was his family. He felt blessed to have four children: Christopher, Cameron, Paige and Kazandra. He loved to brag about them as much as people would listen. Kevin also counted himself lucky over the last ten years to have found someone he truly loved in his future wife, Lindsay Gordon. With her, he also developed a new connection with animals that led him to his best friend, their dog Zoe.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Robert M. Murray Sr. and Barbara (Grace) Murray, and his brother Robert M. Murray Jr.
Kevin leaves behind his two sons; Christopher W. Murray and his wife, Ashley of Danville, Cameron Murray of Manchester, two daughters; Paige Murray, Kazandra Murray, his future wife, Lindsay Gordon of Manchester, three sisters; Cathy Petit and her husband, Raymond of Newmarket, Barbara Lambert and her husband, Henry, Betty Veilleux and her husband Kevin, all of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
