Chester Wayne "Chet" Saunders, 66 of Lapel died unexpectedly on October 22, 2024 at his residence.
He was born July 24, 1958 in New Castle.
He was self employed in construction most of his adult life.
Chet is survived by his wife, Christina (Lewis) Saunders of Lapel whom he married October 2, 2022 in Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Chet Noel "CJ" Saunders, Jr.
Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at East Maplewood Cemetery with Rev. Brad Storm officiating. Visitation will be from 11am-12 pm Tuesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
