Frank Yanchik, 85 of Peckville, passed away Friday evening at home.
His widow is the former Mary Lou Thomas who passed away in 2015.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank and Alice Lashinski Yanchik, he retired from the Pennsylvania State Police Throop R where he was supervisor of garages for 27 Years.
He was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St.
Patricks Church, Olyphant. Surviving are
a daughter Amy Ciborosky (Chuck Primich); son Frank; Sister, Margie Erling, Brother, John Yanchik; three grandchildren Stanley and Gabby Ciborosky, Autumn Mauro; nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by one sister Dolores Vescovi.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday with mass at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patricks Church 200 Delaware Avenue, Olyphant, Pa; friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the church.
