Obituary

Harold H. Noah, a Malden resident for over 25 years and a former resident of Chelsea, died suddenly at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on July 31, 2006. He was 65 years old.

Born in Boston, son of the late Samuel and Ethel (Sherer) Noah, he was raised in Boston graduating from Boston English High School. Mr. Noah went on to study and graduate from Burdett College and Calvin Coolidge College. During the Vietnam era he served with the Army National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Noah was a retired government auditor with the United States Department of Defense. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans Post 74 of Malden, Congregation Agudas Achim - Ezrath Israel of Malden, and the Mt. Scopus Lodge of Masons in Malden.

Mr. Noah is survived by his wife, Eleanor M. (Vigman) Noah; his daughters, Deborah Noah of Nahant, Andrea Mann and her husband Philip of Marblehead, and Rachel Noah of Lynn; his grandchildren, Sarah and Noah Mann; and his sisters, Myra Lurie of Roslindale and Irene Perlmutter of Natick.

Funeral services will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue (Cary Sq) CHELSEA on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Herman Blumberg will officiate. Burial will take place in the Onikchty Cemetery, Melrose. Memorial observance will be held at his late residence on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, on Friday from 2-4 PM, and on Saturday from 7-9 PM.
