Diane F. (Bezanson) Edgerly, 69, of Pembroke, MA, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister passed away October 21, 2024 peacefully surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.
The eldest daughter of John and Gerry (Clifford) Bezanson she born February 12, 1955, in South Weymouth, MA.
Diane graduated from Whitman Hanson Regional High School in the Class of 1973. She grew up and raised her family in Whitman then spent the last 19 years living in Pembroke.
To Diane, family was everything—she lived to make their lives better. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy. Passionate about music, Diane filled her home with tunes that brought everyone together and loved to attend concerts with friends and family. Her Irish heritage was a source of pride, and she embraced traditions that celebrated her roots, sharing stories and songs that connected generations.
Diane’s warm and giving nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of those around her. Her friends and family will fondly remember her cooking style—often indulgent and always hearty—an expression of love that filled their bellies and hearts alike. She loved to travel, exploring new places with her family, turning every trip into an adventure.
Though Diane may no longer be with us, her spirit lives on in the cherished memories and the bonds she nurtured, reminding everyone that love, laughter, and family are her legacy.
Diane was married to Roger for 50 years. She was a loving mother to Lisa (Jackson), Roger and his wife Jennifer, Jason and John. She was a devoted grandmother, lovingly known as Gramma, to Brent, Cale, Jaden (Jackson), Ava (Jackson), Madison, Alexandra, Graham, Olivia and Alaina. Sister to Judy Veazie and her husband William, Susan Wilson, Linda Tuffy and her husband Craig and MaryJane Braley and her husband Scott. Aunt to countless nieces and nephews. Survived by her two dear friends Terry Holland and Ann Holbrook.
Family and friends are invited to attend Diane’s visiting hours Saturday, October 26th from 12:00-3:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
