Natasha (Orgocka) Qendro, 71, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, October 22nd at her home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 41 years, Koco Qendro; a son, Elion Qendro and his wife, Olesja of Worcester; a daughter, Evis Qendro and her husband, Renato Pashko of Paxton; three grandchildren, Ryan, Eliana, and Henri; three brothers, Stavri Orgocka and Petrika Orgocka both of Albania, and Gjergji Orgocka of Greece; two sisters, Maria Katro and Tatjana Nako both of Albania, and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Tirana, Albania, the daughter of Kristaq and Sofia (Stoja) Orgocka. After finishing her studies, she worked at “Parku i Mallrave” in Korce in the payroll department, where she also met her husband. Within a short period of time they decided to spend the rest of their lives together.
In 2001, she immigrated to the United States with her family, where she dedicated a decade of her life to working at Dunkin' Donuts until she retired. She made many friends and kept the friendship with them for years.
Natasha cherished spending time with her husband and her family, especially the grandchildren, loved visiting Albania to reconnect with her family and travel to different countries for vacations, loved gardening, enjoyed spending time in the kitchen to create delicious meals for her family, especially her famous “Trishke”. She was also a devoted member of St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church. Her life was marked by love, family, and a strong sense of community.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th starting at 12:30pm at St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, . Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street. A calling hour will be on Friday, October 25th from 11:30am until the start of the service in the church. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
